Ticket Purchase Policy

Our Role 

We are a ticketing platform that serves individuals attending events (“Customers”) and those who produce or host events, such as event producers, organizers, venues, artist representatives, promoters, teams, fan clubs, and leagues (“Event Producers”).  We sell digital e-tickets on behalf of Event Producers, which means we do not provide event services, set or control the ticket prices, availability, or determine seating locations. Our service role is considered completed upon the digital delivery of your ticket(s).

Errors

If you do not receive an order confirmation (in the form of a confirmation page or email) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm whether or not your order has been placed. Only you may be aware of any technical issues or errors during the purchase process. We will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.

Pricing and Availability

Pricing and availability may change over time, so be sure to plan ahead.

Once you’ve successfully added tickets to Luna Ticketing’s checkout, you will have a limited amount of time to complete your purchase. If the time expires, you’ll have to begin the process again, and you may see changes in price or availability for your chosen tickets.

Platform Service Fee, Other Service Fees, and Taxes

Tickets purchased on our Site are typically subject to, among other possible fees, a non-refundable per ticket “Platform Service Fee.” Platform Service Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances and regardless of the event’s status or refund approval.

We collect taxes as required by federal, state, and local laws. We may display the tax separately or include it in the total service fee amount. 

Ticket(s) Constitute a Revocable License: Event Producers Right to Revoke Admission and/or Eject Ticket Holders

Each ticket issued by Luna Ticketing represents a revocable license to attend the specified event. Admission may be refused, revoked, or terminated at any time at the sole discretion of the Event Producer, with or without cause, and without refund. This includes, but is not limited to, circumstances involving disorderly conduct, failure to comply with event rules or policies, or possession of prohibited items such as alcohol, recording devices, or chemical/noise irritants.

The Event Producer reserves the right to eject any individual whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or in violation of the Event Producer’s rules. Breach of these terms or any event-specific policies will result in immediate termination of the license to attend, without refund or other compensation.

As a condition of entry, the Event Producer may require additional registration steps and reserves the right to subject attendees and their belongings to security screenings, including searches, at the event entrance.

Ticket Limits

You may be limited to a specified number of tickets for each event (also known as a “ticket limit”). This ticket limit is posted during the purchase process and is verified with every transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices. We reserve the right to cancel any or all orders and tickets without refund or notice to you if you exceed the posted limits. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.

Changes to Lineup, Schedule, Location, or Event Cancellation

Event Producers reserve the right to modify the event lineup, change the date, time, or venue, or cancel the event altogether at their sole discretion, without obligation to issue refunds. These decisions are made solely by the Event Producer and are outside of Luna Ticketing’s control.

While Luna Ticketing encourages Event Producers to provide reasonable advance notice of any changes, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify ticket holders of such changes, we cannot guarantee that notice will be timely or that changes will not cause inconvenience.

If an event is rescheduled or moved, updated tickets reflecting the new date, time, or location will be made available in your Luna Ticketing account. Please monitor your account and email notifications for updates.

Lineups, including headliners, supporting acts, and festival performers, are subject to change without notice. Luna Ticketing is not responsible for changes to or cancellations of opening acts, supporting performers, or any other event participants. No refunds will be issued due to lineup changes or cancellations of individual performers.

Refunds

By purchasing a ticket through Luna Ticketing, you agree to the following refund, exchange, and cancellation terms:

1. All Sales Are Final

All sales are final, including if the event is suspended, rescheduled, moved, or canceled, unless otherwise expressly approved by both Luna Ticketing and the Event Producer. No automatic right of refund or exchange is provided unless clearly stated.

2. Exchanges and Resales

Ticket holders may exchange or resell tickets with approval granted by both Luna Ticketing and the Event Producer. Unauthorized resale or transfer may result in ticket cancellation without refund.

3. Refunds for Canceled Events

If an event is canceled and a refund is approved by both Luna Ticketing and the Event Producer, you will receive a refund of the ticket’s face value or discounted price paid, excluding all Platform Service Fees.

Definition of Cancelled: An event is considered “cancelled” when the event producer “cancels” a scheduled event occurrence, doesn’t set a new event date, and has no intent to set a new event date in the future.

Note: The Platform Service Fee and other service fees are non-refundable under any circumstances and regardless of the event’s status or refund approval. 

4. Refund Limitations

  • Refunds, if issued, will only be processed back to the original payment method used at checkout.
  • Refund requests may not be honored after 60 days, even with approval.
  • Order cancellations are not permitted under any circumstances.
  • Tickets are considered a revocable license; registration and/or entry may be refused at the Event Organizer’s discretion and without refund.

5. No Liability for Related Expenses

Luna Ticketing is not responsible for any costs incurred due to event changes, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or ticket costs, whether or not a refund is granted.

6. Chargeback Prohibition and Consequences

By purchasing tickets through Luna Ticketing, you agree not to initiate a card chargeback or payment dispute in an attempt to evade, avoid, or circumvent the refund, cancellation, or exchange restrictions set forth in this Policy or those of the applicable Event Producer.

You further agree not to falsely report a transaction as fraudulent, unauthorized, or undelivered when such claims are made in bad faith or without legitimate cause.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated in violation of this Policy, Luna Ticketing reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:

  • Cancel any tickets associated with the disputed transaction without refund;

  • Revoke, suspend, or restrict access to any and all tickets in your Luna Ticketing account, regardless of whether they were part of the disputed transaction;

  • Refuse to honor pending or future purchases made using the same payment method, email address, billing information, or customer account;

  • Permanently or temporarily ban any individual associated with the disputed transaction from accessing or using the Luna Ticketing platform.

Note: This clause is intended to prevent fraudulent or abusive chargebacks and protect the integrity of the platform for all users. If you believe a chargeback was filed in error, please contact Luna Ticketing Support immediately.

7. Ticket Pricing or Availability Errors

In the event of a ticketing error (e.g., incorrect pricing, early release, or unauthorized sale), Luna Ticketing reserves the right to cancel the affected ticket(s) and refund the amount paid. This applies regardless of whether the issue was due to human error, system malfunction, or other causes.

Luna Ticketing is not obligated to honor erroneous prices or ticket availability if tickets were listed or sold as a result of a technical malfunction, typographical mistake, or human error. We reserve the right to correct any such errors and cancel affected orders without further liability.

8. Event Producer Policies

Individual Event Producers may set their own refund, exchange, cancellation, or resale policies. These additional terms, if any, can be found on the respective Event Producer’s profile on Luna Ticketing. In the event of a conflict between the Event Producer’s terms and this policy, the more restrictive policy shall apply unless otherwise stated.

9. Submission Requests

All refund, resell, and exchange requests must be submitted through a formal Luna Ticketing Support Request via our Support Page. Requests submitted outside of this process (including via email, social media, or direct contact with the Event Producer) may not be acknowledged or processed. Once an order is placed it may not be cancelled. Any cancellation requests will be denied.

Unlawful Resell

We can guarantee the authenticity of only those tickets purchased directly on our Site. Other online vendors, brokers, or individuals may try to sell you Luna Ticketing tickets; but we can only verify the legitimacy of tickets purchased directly through Luna Ticketing.

Some states have limits on the maximum resale value of tickets. If you choose to resell your ticket, you are responsible for following all laws that govern resale transactions.

Event Producers may have limits, restrictions, or specific rules regarding the resale of tickets. If you choose to resell your ticket, you are responsible for following all rules that govern resale transactions and for seeking approval from the event producer to resell your ticket(s).

Luna Ticketing tickets are for individual use only. The advertising of our tickets in sweepstakes or promotions is not allowed without our written preauthorization.
